Whitewater fishing
At Whitewater Fishing, we didn’t set out to make another fishing jacket; we set out to rethink what fishing apparel should feel like when conditions are at their worst, and the bite is at its best.
For too long, anglers were forced into heavy, rigid outerwear that promised protection but stole mobility. Layers that restricted casting. Bulk that fought every reach, hookset, and adjustment. We believed there was a better way, one where protection didn’t come at the cost of performance. So we rebuilt fishing apparel from the ground up with a singular focus: strategic outerwear design that moves with you, not against you.
Mobility isn’t an afterthought; it’s engineered into the fabric patterning itself. Every panel, seam, and articulation point is intentionally mapped to match the way anglers move on the water. Stretch is placed where you load a cast. Articulation is built where you reach, brace, and react. The result is apparel that feels natural and unrestrictive, allowing you to fish freely without thinking about what you’re wearing.
We apply the same precision to how our gear works together. Whitewater Fishing apparel is designed as a system, layering options built to complement each other where it matters most. From lightweight base and mid-layers to protective outer shells, each piece integrates seamlessly, giving anglers the ability to adapt to changing conditions without unnecessary bulk. Warmth is added only where it makes sense, preserving an optimal warm-to-weight ratio and maintaining full freedom of movement.
Born in the Midwest and forged on the Great Lakes, we live in weather extremes year-round. Cold fronts, driving rain, biting wind, unpredictable chop, we don’t study these conditions from afar; we endure them. That experience shapes every decision we make, from fabric selection and patterning to fit and function. We know what it takes to stay out longer, fish harder, and remain focused when others head for shore.
Whitewater Fishing apparel is built for anglers who demand more from their gear and from themselves. Because when the elements push back, your apparel shouldn’t hold you back #bravethewaves.
