The Tamer™ Softshell Jacket is what you reach for when a hoodie isn’t enough and a restrictive, cumbersome rain suit is too much. The combination of a windproof, breathable, polyester softshell and a grid fleece lining makes the Tamer the garment to grab when the wind is stiff and there’s a slight chance for rain. The 4-way stretch fabric provides a conforming fit so you can reach to hook up a cannonball or extend to hoop a trophy walleye.
The windproof, breathable, polyester stretch fabric of the Tamer™ Softshell Jacket is DWR treated to repel cold spray, while also letting the body moisture accumulated during a frantic bite to escape. Grid fleece lining on the back and sides of the Tamer jacket warms the inner core. The sleeves, chest, and back shoulders have reflective tape, so you remain visible during prime low-light situations. Two sewn-in D-rings are right where you need them for attaching a safety kill switch cord and the key fob for your trolling motor. A pair of waist pockets leave plenty of room for gloves and a stocking cap while a welded chest pocket is the perfect spot for keeping valuables dry. A waist adjuster and three-piece hood allow you to cinch everything down when the weather turns nasty. A two-way center zipper with a storm flap permits easy access and protection against the elements. The sleeves feature a built-in thumbhole opening so water runs down the outside of your sleeves and not to your core.
