The Whitewater Flats Short was built for the days when the sun is high, the water is open, and staying comfortable means staying mobile. Designed as the warm-weather counterpart to the Everyday Pant, it delivers technical performance for fishing without looking or feeling out of place when the day carries on beyond the water.
Too many fishing shorts are either overly technical or completely casual, with nothing in between. We set out to build a short that performs during long, hot days on the flats, yet still holds its shape and comfort when you step off the boat and into town. The result is an ultra-comfortable 175g quick-dry fabric blend that balances breathability, stretch, and durability without excess weight.
Mobility is engineered into the design. Built-in stretch allows the short to move naturally as you cast, pole, kneel, and wade, while the elastic waistband with adjustable drawcord ensures a secure, dialed-in fit throughout the day. Nothing binds, nothing bunches, and nothing gets in the way when conditions demand constant movement.
Function follows intention. A thoughtfully designed four-pocket layout keeps essentials exactly where you need them. Two front drop-in pockets provide easy access, while a zip-closure side pocket secures keys or a wallet when you’re on the move. A hook-and-loop back pocket with drainage grommet sheds water quickly after spray or wading—because wet gear shouldn’t slow you down.

Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
Measure around the fullest part of your chest while keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
Measure around your waist where your pants typically sit while keeping the tape horizontal.
Measure from the crotch down to your leg where you like your pants to fit. Typically around the ankle.
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles, around the hand, excluding the thumb.
With Measure from the most prominent part of the forehead (often 1-2 fingers above the eyebrow) around to the widest part of the back of your head.
